Thomas J. Rusin, Chief Executive Officer
Thomas Rusin (Tom) was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of HomeServe USA in July 2011. Prior to joining HomeServe, Tom served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Affinion Group North America, from June 2007 to June 2010. Tom joined Affinion in 1999 and undertook a number of roles until his most recent position as CEO and President.
Prior to Affinion, Tom owned and operated Just for Travel Inc., a leisure retail travel business he acquired, grew, and then sold. Tom currently sits on the board of directors of The Ambassadors Group (NASDAQ: EPAX), a social conscious student educational and travel firm. Additionally, he is active with the Boy Scouts of America (B.S.A.) and sits on the board of directors for the Fairfield County Council of the B.S.A.
Chris Miller, Chief Financial Officer
Appointed as Chief Financial Officer in July 2010, Chris has overall responsibility for financial, legal and compliance matters. He is also a central partner in corporate business development with a particular focus on M&A activity.
Prior to joining HomeServe USA, Chris held numerous senior leadership positions in finance and corporate development at U.S. affiliates of Reed Elsevier PLC, most recently as Senior VP of Finance at Reed Business Information, a business-to-business media company. He also has significant commercial experience, having served as a senior vice president of Reed Exhibitions (RX), the U.S. division of the global tradeshow organizer. In this role, Chris had complete operational and financial responsibility for business activities of the unit, including sales, marketing, operations and customer/partner relations (an extensive network of U.S. trade associations).
Chris also has extensive experience in corporate governance/risk management as well as internal controls formulation. While at Reed Elsevier PLC, he played an integral role in developing the Sarbanes Oxley 404 compliance program for the global Reed Business division and served on the Reed Elsevier U.S. Investment Committee.
Chris is a certified public accountant and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Neil Grant, Chief Operating Officer
Neil has overall responsibility for the operations of HomeServe USA, including customer service, sales, service delivery, and information technology. Neil has been with the HomeServe Group for six years and was the General Manager of HomeServe’s Australian operation before his appointment to HomeServe USA.
Neil had eight years of experience in the utility sector prior to joining Homeserve. He began his career as a management trainee with Anglian Water, one of the UK’s largest water utilities. While there, he was promoted through a variety of roles to the position of Domestic Business Manager, responsible for the sales, marketing, and fulfillment of the company’s non-regulated product offerings to its five million domestic customers. He was also a senior product manager for Yarra Valley Water in Australia, the country’s second largest water utility. Neil is also a licensed insurance agent.
Michael Rauscher, Chief Marketing Officer
Michael Rauscher joined HomeServe as Chief Marketing Officer in December 2008. He brought with him 20 years of experience marketing affinity branded membership and insurance programs, most recently as Executive Vice President of Marketing Services for Affinion Group.
A seasoned direct marketing professional, Michael’s expertise spans direct mail, web marketing and telesales. His status in the industry is evidenced by his membership in the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the American Teleservices Association, a trade group that emphasizes education, advocacy and lobbying in Washington, DC, on behalf of the telesales industry.
Deb Dulsky, Chief Commercial Officer
Deb Dulsky was appointed as Chief Commercial Officer of HomeServe USA in March 2011. To this role, she brings 20 years of experience in marketing, client services, operations, product development and general management from a combination of corporate and independent consulting assignments in the U.S. and abroad.
Prior to joining HomeServe, Deb led the Marketing Solutions division in the Americas of Williams Lea, a $2 billion revenue business process outsourcing (BPO) unit of Deutsche Post DHL AG. She was also previously the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Client Solutions for Affinion Group.
Deb has a B.A. in Sociology from Dartmouth College and attended Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business Executive Education Program.
Peter Buttrick, Chief Business Development Officer
Peter joined HomeServe USA in August of 2008 as Vice President of Business Development. He held several positions until his appointment to Chief Business Development in March 2011. Peter has overall responsibility for affinity partner business development throughout North America. He brings with him over 25 years of business development experience, with 20 years focusing on utility companies that have affinity marketing programs.
Prior to joining Home Service, Peter operated Buttrick Consulting where he advised leading electric and gas utilities, utility trade associations and financial institutions.
Peter received his B.S. in History and Economics from Boston College.
