HomeServe USA to Offer Home Protection Plans to Tuscon Electric Power CustomersTucson, AZ- Customers of Tucson Electric Power(TEP) will soon have access to a broad new array of enhanced home repair plans through HomeServe USA(HomeServe), a leading provider of home repair service programs. Starting this month, TEP customers will begin receiving information from HomeServe describing the initial offerings. The affordable protection plans available will include coverage of a homeowner’s electrical wiring and water heating systems. Customers holding these plans through HomeServe will have access to an Emergency Repair Hotline that is accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to bring local, licensed and insured contractors right to their home for repairs. The plans offered by HomeServe protect homeowners from the cost of repairs that are not covered by basic home insurance or a local utility. For example, homeowners are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the interior electrical wiring components in their home. Now, with coverage provided by HomeServe, TEP customers have an affordable option with guaranteed repairs. “We’re pleased to announce the availability of these optional protection plans for our customers,” said Steve Lynn, chief customer officer for TEP and its parent company, UniSource Energy Corporation (NYSE: UNS). “While our crews are quick to respond to utility system outages, we cannot repair the problems that occur in our customers’ homes.
