Del-Co Water Company to Offer Customers Optional Water Service Line Coverage Plans through Partnership with HomeServe USA

Delaware, OH – HomeServe USA (HomeServe), a leading provider of home emergency repair solutions, today announced the launch of its partnership with Del-Co Water Company to offer optional repair service plans for exterior water service lines. Through this partnership, HomeServe will offer coverage to the 46,000 households served by Del-Co Water, via plans designed to protect local homeowners from the costs and inconveniences associated with emergency repairs to the water lines connecting their home to Del-Co Water’s system.  Additional plans will also be available for exterior sewer lines as well as in-home plumbing.

“When faced with a home repair emergency, many homeowners are surprised to find that repairs on the water service line connecting their home to our system are the responsibility of the property owner, are typically not covered by many home warranties or homeowner’s insurance policies, and leaving them burdened with both the cost and inconvenience of navigating the situation,” said Glenn Marzluf, General Manager with the Del-Co Water Company. “Our partnership with HomeServe will allow us to make an affordable solution available to customers to protect them in this situation.”

HomeServe plan holders have access to a Repair Hotline that is accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, as well as local, licensed, and insured contractors to provide high-quality home repair services in a timely manner. The Exterior Water Service Line Coverage will be available for $2.99 per month for the first year.  HomeServe will also have available Exterior Sewer/Septic Line Coverage for $7.99 per month and a plan for in-home plumbing, the Interior Plumbing and Drainage Coverage, for $9.99 per month. Residents that enroll in the optional plans will have convenient payment options available directly through HomeServe.
