This Home Decluttering App Can Help You Organize Your Life
I’m no Marie Kondo, but I do consider myself a neat and organized person. But, to be completely honest, there’s some serious clutter in my home. As a working mom and wife with a 4 bedroom house, 3 kids, a dog, a cat, a hamster, and a full-time job outside of the home, I feel like I spend half my life trying to declutter and tidy up. My worst offense: the various owner’s manuals, mail and general paperwork that pile up on my dining room table and then make the pilgrimage to the overstuffed, kitchen junk drawer.
Since becoming a new homeowner a decade ago, I’ve bought my share of appliances, electronics and home systems. Over the past few years, I’ve had to buy a new Samsung refrigerator, KitchenAid dishwasher, Maytag washer/dryer, garage door opener, central air conditioning system and a new water heater. And not to mention, the numerous TVs and toaster ovens (all must-haves to help entertain and feed 3 growing kiddies.)
While I find it super fun to pick out stainless-steel appliances and the latest high tech devices for my home (I personally can’t live without my iPad), all those manufacturer’s manuals that come along with the purchases can create even more paperwork for me to misplace, lose or shove into that overflowing junk drawer.
So, in my efforts to tidy up, I came across certain mobile apps that can help organize all your user manuals, manufacturer manuals, and many other household items that you want to keep track of (even paint swatches!) While there are many available at the Apple and Android app stores, my favorite is the FREE HomeServe app.
This app can help work wonders and put everything home-related at your fingertips.
Install this FREE app on your mobile device or login from your desktop and you’ll find how it can help you organize and then discard all those user manuals, manufacturer warranties and receipts. You’ll also get real-time product recall alerts. And it will even remind you to order replacement parts (something I always forget to do.)
It’s all your home maintenance stuff in one place so you can rest easy - and then finally clean out that kitchen junk drawer!
