Overview

If you drive an electric vehicle (EV), you know how important your level 2 charger is to daily life. An EV level 2 charger breakdown or malfunction is a huge inconvenience. You can’t drive to work, the kids to school, or even to the doctor or grocery store. That’s why you want your EV charger and the electrical line that feeds it to be functional 24/7.

Most basic homeowners insurance doesn’t cover repairs to the interior electrical line and your electrical vehicle (EV) home charger. Be prepared with an affordable repair plan called Interior Electric With EV Charger Protection Plan from HomeServe, which includes a $500 reimbursement for a covered replacement EV Charger and up to $2,500 of annual coverage for Interior Electric.
